Au Debut

We have been fortunate to use the lodge again.

The Company I work has contracted to use this lodge for three years and our employees have been taking turns to use it.

The lodge holds maximum 24 people but 14 of us got together at the lodge this time

And of course, we had a fantastic time.

Hotel

Since we drink and party hard (while watching the game, of course????) at the lodge, we always reserve a hotel room.

That way we don’t need to worry about driving back home drunk.

The hotel we booked this time was “Marriott Chateau Champlain“.

We’ve stayed at many Marriott Hotels in town but this one is the best so far.

Highly recommend this one definitely.

The room is tad smaller compared to others but very modern and clean.

And they gave us two bathrobes ‼️

Métro station is directly connected to the hotel and that’s a massive plus for the convenience for any traveller!

Stade Saputo

Montréal has three professional sport clubs: Ice Hockey, Canadian Football and REAL Football (Soccer).

I don’t care much about Ice Hockey or Canadian Football so let’s ignore them.

Our football club is called “CF Montréal” and the stadium is called “Stade Saputo“.

Don’t ask us what “CF” stands for…????

[Stade Saputo]

  • Capacity – 19,619 seats
    • Seats under the roof – 6,948
  • Pitch – Natural Grass (110m x 68.5m)
  • Corporate Boxes (Lodge) – 36

I really love this stadium.

I’m usually so caught up in the mood of the game and yapping with people and forget to take photos.

But I managed to take a few this time so here are some from the game day.

Home Game

It was a great game again.

They just experienced a loss on away game and needed a win at home.

They had, however, the winning streak on the home ground.

We all hoped the trend continued.

Miami was very aggressive from the get-go and the game was very close all the way to the end.

At the start of second half, at 53 min., Chinonso Offor scored his 3rd goal from the pass by Ariel Lassiter.

Montreal goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois shined between the pipes, making five saves.

He is the native of LaSalle, Que., and recorded a fifth clean sheet and set a new club record for minutes without conceding at home‼️

I’m so so happy to see our own player is doing so well.

Till next time

We always enjoy too much when I go to these home games at the lodge????

A few people lost their voice the next day including meself from talking loud and laughing so hard.

I’m not sure when we can use the lodge next but definitely looking forward to it.

T’a ❤️
